What you'd actually do

  1. Analyzing, researching and developing structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design
  2. Analyzing product designs for damage tolerance, durability and design allowables in specific structural engineering specialties including transient shock, vibration, operational loads, fatigue, and thermal analysis
  3. Providing technical, cost and schedule performance oversight of multiple projects, including cost account management (CAM)
  4. Reviewing and approving proposal estimates for new structural and acoustic work
  5. Developing and implementing employee career development, knowledge sharing and training plans
