What you'd actually do

  1. Provide strategic and innovative solutions to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth).
  2. Develop deal strategies and socialize with key stakeholders to partner and align on needs to negotiate for a broad range of products and services for Capital One.
  3. Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a primary point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties, which includes an ability to understand and act upon service levels.
  4. Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally across multiple business units and stakeholders to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant Capital One policies and procedures.
  5. Monitor and ensure the health of successful delivery against third party contractual obligations.
  6. Accountable for policy requirements for all managed third-party relationships. Plan and lead periodic reviews and assessments of supplier relationships.
  7. Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging suppliers to acquire goods or services, including conducting market research, negotiations, supplier management, cost analyses, and aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals.
