Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 at Northrop Grumman in San Diego, CA. What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities related to procurement supply chain
  2. The Manager will serve as a focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit Leader within the GSCPM team
  3. Responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support the build process on the program, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets
  4. Responsible for the accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management baseline
  5. Proposal management to ensure the timely and quality submittal of Prime proposals

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting, OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or project
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • SAP experience
  • Experience conducting presentations to and collaborating with Senior Leadership
  • At minimum, an active U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Nice to have

  • CAM Experience or Training
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Must have ability to create presentations that proficiently present problems and propose solutions to senior level management. An advanced level of proficiency in the use of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) is preferred.
  • Master Degree in Business, Global Supply Chain or Project Management
  • Risk mitigation experience
  • Experience working on high dollar development Subcontracts (i.e. Cost Reimbursable type contracts)
  • Experience with financial forecasting and modeling
