The Transition Manager will collaborate with global commodity managers, engineering, quality, and supplier teams to ensure seamless production readiness and sustainment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end execution of supplier work transfer programs, from planning through qualification and steady-state production.
  2. Collaborate with supplier teams to establish robust project plans, including tooling readiness, sub-tier readiness, process qualification, and capacity validation.
  3. Ensure transparent and timely communication between supplier, global commodity management, engineering, Transition, quality and Material function
  4. Identify transition risks early (technical, capacity, supply chain, quality) and lead mitigation planning.
  5. Track and report transition progress using program dashboards (milestone adherence, supplier readiness, risk closure rates).
