Manager for AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery, responsible for end-to-end program management of high-visibility initiatives impacting infrastructure capacity delivery in the Americas. The role involves leading Capital Approval Request (CAR) program management, core business operations, knowledge management, training, and on-time delivery programs. A key aspect is building and scaling Generative AI automation capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational growth.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end Capital Approval Request (CAR) program management, including executive coordination and regional program ownership across Delivery, Energy/Water, and Real Estate workstreams.
  2. Lead Director-level goal review meetings and coordinate cross-functionally with VP-level teams to ensure strategic alignment across the organization.
  3. Lead their team to drive Data Center Build Manager (DCBM) program coordination, including customer feedback loops, feature request management, and launch communications.
  4. Build and scale advanced Generative AI automation capabilities to support operational efficiency and future organizational growth.
  5. Lead technical infrastructure program delivery across the AMER region, including milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and issue triage.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of project management (including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management) experience
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagement (Director/VP level).
  • Experience with capital planning, headcount management, or business operations in a technology or infrastructure organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scalable processes and mechanisms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience in data center, infrastructure, or cloud capacity planning environments.
  • Familiarity with CAR or capital approval processes within a large enterprise.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools to drive operational automation and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building and managing business review mechanisms (WBR, QBR, MBR).
  • Proven track record of leading teams through ambiguity and delivering results in a matrixed organization.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
