This role is for a Manager, Training at PitchBook, a Morningstar company. The primary focus is on leading the facilitation and delivery of learning experiences for Sales and Customer Success teams, managing a team of facilitators, and ensuring delivery excellence in onboarding and ongoing enablement. The role involves both personal facilitation and coaching team members, with a strong emphasis on adult learning principles and operational discipline in training delivery.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with PB Learning leadership and business stakeholders to lead training initiatives for new hires and the ramping and upskilling of our Commercial teams
  2. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Sales & Customer Success facilitators, fostering high standards for facilitation quality and learner engagement
  3. Own facilitator capacity planning and coverage decisions, proactively balancing training demand, facilitator readiness, and learner experience across regions and programs
  4. Personally facilitate approximately 50% of assigned training, including onboarding, ramping, and upskilling in both virtual and in-person formats
  5. Partner with program managers to develop and maintain a training calendar, ensuring timely delivery of programs for new hires, upskilling, and ongoing development

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in curriculum development, business, psychology, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of combined work experience in Learning and Development, preferably in the Sales and/or Customer Success, and Sales Enablement domains
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading training teams
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learner audiences in virtual and in-person settings and experience with adult learning techniques
  • Operational experience coordinating training schedules, calendars, and delivery logistics
  • A demonstrated drive for results and an ownership mentality
  • Strong execution skills for multi-functional and cross-organizational assignments and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
