Manager role focused on growing PayPal's Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) adoption among UK consumers. This role involves working at the intersection of product, marketing, and analytics to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The individual will be the voice of the consumer within the BNPL team, ensuring products and go-to-market strategies resonate with target audiences. Responsibilities include developing consumer audience frameworks, analyzing customer behavior, collaborating with marketing on campaigns, supporting new product launches, advocating for consumer needs with product teams, and defining/tracking consumer KPIs. Experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, or growth roles within BNPL or consumer credit is required, with a proven track record in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
  2. Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships.
  3. Shape long-term commercial strategy by assessing market dynamics, competitive positioning, and partnership performance to prioritize high-impact growth opportunities.
  4. Establish scalable partnership frameworks and operating models that streamline execution, enhance collaboration across teams, and ensure consistent delivery of partner value.
  5. Align product and business levers (such as pricing and FX) to maximize revenue and market expansion opportunities.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Significant experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, or growth roles within BNPL or consumer credit.
  • Proven track record of driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for BNPL or installment products.
  • Strong understanding of the UK BNPL and consumer credit landscape.
