Managing Director, Head of Agentic Commerce, B2c, Payments

JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase · Banking · New York, NY +1 · Commercial & Investment Bank

Managing Director to lead the Go-To Market, commercial strategy, and platform capabilities for Agentic Commerce within B2C Payments. This role involves shaping product direction, building reusable platform capabilities for agentic commerce, establishing strategic partnerships, influencing industry protocols, and leading pilot-to-scale programs. Requires senior leadership experience in payments, commerce, or fintech, with a focus on building complex partnerships and platform capabilities, and demonstrated ability to lead through influence across various functions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Go-To Market & Commercialization: Design the GTM playbooks and commercial strategy for AIA powered offerings.
  2. Ecosystem strategy and operating model: Deeply understand the competitive landscape to shape product direction. Define where JPMorgan Payments plays and wins across agent-driven consumer checkout, including priority use cases, target segments, partner archetypes, and a roadmap aligned to client outcomes and adoption.
  3. Build - core agentic commerce platform capabilities: Set the vision, priorities, and reference architectures for reusable platform capabilities that make agentic commerce safe, scalable, and repeatable across B2C checkout. Define requirements, success metrics, and governance; align Product, Technology, and Controls on decisions; and drive execution through cross-LOB forums, while dedicated build teams implement.
  4. Build meaningful partnerships: Build and scale a prioritized portfolio of strategic partners across key B2C commerce and enterprise platforms, marketplaces, and emerging AI/agent ecosystems. Run structured experiments and pilots with clear success criteria and governance, then convert what works into scaled distribution through joint roadmaps, durable commercial models, and repeatable integration patterns (per prior discussion on lighthouse pilots and portfolio approach).
  5. Protocol and standards influence: Drive firmwide participation in relevant protocol/standards efforts and bilateral implementations to shape interoperability, consent and delegated authority, audit logs, and post-transaction workflows. Ensure positions are implementable, reduce integration friction, and strengthen regulatory-grade controls rather than creating bespoke, non-scalable constructs (per prior discussion on protocol influence).
