Manufacturing Design Engineer for Mac products, responsible for developing and implementing key production processes in a high-volume environment. Involves assessing fabrication technologies, planning experiments, leading supplier development, and ensuring part design alignment with process capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assess the suitability of a fabrication technology for a given part design
  2. Plan validation exercises to demonstrate process feasibility and capability
  3. Planning, proposing, and leading experiments to produce analyses used to drive design, development, and supply chain decisions
  4. Acts as direct responsible engineer to drive process development and capability assessment activities, reviewing part design documentation to ensure alignment with process capability
  5. Review supplier tool design, process flow, equipment selection, DFM, and DOE proposals
