Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer role focused on technical analysis of production processes, costs, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. Responsibilities include implementing process enhancements, monitoring equipment reliability, providing engineering support, analyzing blueprints, tracking capital projects, developing new manufacturing technologies, and collecting data for root cause analysis. Requires a degree in a relevant engineering field and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze and follow blueprints/drawings to ensure product and customer specifications.
  2. Assist manufacturing operations team in modifying tooling/equipment for continuous improvement.
  3. Responsible for tracking of Capital projects (CAPEX).
  4. Responsible for ensuring the correct use of tools/materials to ensure the correct use.
  5. Apply and explain to manufacturing operations specifications of prints and ensure the correct procedure to follow them.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
  • Continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D, SWOT, Pareto, fishbone diagram.
  • Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiar with MS Office packages, Autocad, Visualization software.
  • Data analysis applied to manufacturing.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Equivalent manufacturing engineering experience will be considered.
  • Advanced English proficiency for cross‑site and global collaboration.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles, and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
  • Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.
  • Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
