Manufacturing Engineer role focused on designing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes for safety, quality, cost, and efficiency. This role involves hands-on process improvement, root cause analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize production.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to support safety, quality, cost, and production goals.
  2. Serve as a process engineering expert for molding operations, identifying opportunities to improve process capability, efficiency, and reliability.
  3. Lead process risk identification and mitigation activities, including Safety FMEAs and Process FMEAs, and drive corrective actions for safety incidents, near misses, and quality defects.
  4. Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and process updates by developing and implementing new processes, tooling, and equipment.
  5. Provide day‑to‑day engineering support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting process issues and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Extensive industry experience in manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies

Nice to have

  • Experience with molding operations
  • Familiarity with Safety FMEAs and Process FMEAs
