What you'd actually do

  1. Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing and factory engineering work supporting Machining and Factory Automation.
  2. Support safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing processes while contributing to continuous improvement, layout development, tooling implementation, and standards development.
  3. Collaborate closely with all teams to align safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  4. Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers.
  5. Design, validate, and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment to support new or revised products.

Skills

Required

  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Creo.
  • Fundamental understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), with the ability to apply principles and provide guidance and feedback.
  • Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate mid to large-scale projects with strict timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Attention to detail with ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of machining, tooling, and manufacturing engineering principles.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting tooling design, build, and implementation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with factory layout development and material flow optimization.
  • Experience applying lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers or contractors on engineering projects.
  • Experience with Factory Automation
  • Experience with CNC programming and/or macro programming on one or more machine controls
