What you'd actually do

  1. Designing efficient conveyance systems and layouts in AutoCAD
  2. Performing detailed feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to evaluate proposed designs and process changes, including assessing technical viability, cost-effectiveness, and potential risks.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, product engineers, the plant teams and suppliers, to define technical specifications and integrate conveyor systems seamlessly into the final assembly line.
  4. Optimizing existing conveyor layouts and processes to enhance throughput, improve ergonomics, and reduce operational costs.
  5. Ensuring all conveyor system designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and internal specifications.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors / Masters degree, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • AutoCAD and Teamcenter proficiency

Nice to have

  • Automotive experience, final assembly preferred
  • Conveyance systems or tooling experience preferred
