This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations through data analysis, strategy development, and process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. While the company uses AI and advanced technologies, this specific role is centered on manufacturing engineering and analytics, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement manufacturing strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  2. Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing data, including production metrics, process flow, and resource utilization, to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of manufacturing strategies with overall business objectives.
  4. Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep our manufacturing processes at the cutting edge.
  5. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes and strategies for continuous improvement.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • Experience and expertise developing insights and solutions using data visualization tools: Python, Typescript, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, PLTR Foundry, MS VBA, etc...
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing strategy or analysis role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software and advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data presentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree preferred (either MBA or MS of Engineering)
