Manufacturing Engineer (assembly and Installation)

Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their 787 team in Kyiv. The role involves developing and implementing manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, and work instructions, as well as supporting business objectives through manufacturing strategies and supplier integration. Responsibilities include investigating technical issues, performing producibility assessments, and ensuring manufacturing requirements are met. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, 3+ years of experience, and knowledge of GD&T and engineering documentation. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of assembly processes and Boeing's organizational procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops, implements, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  2. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  3. Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  4. Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
  5. Investigates and resolves manufacturing technical related issues.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and International standards (ASME Y14.5(2018), ASME Y14.5(2009)
  • English language level – intermediate or higher.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations for 787 airplane.
  • Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
