What you'd actually do

  1. Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards
  2. Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests
  3. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
  4. Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules
  5. Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Engineering degree
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Experience leading various problem solving methods (i.e. Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, or other assessment, audit and investigative models)

Nice to have

  • Experience with integration of complex assemblies, including test experience
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following within the Manufacturing Operations function (Shop Floor Manufacturing Operations, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Integration & Test Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, manufacturing processes, or industry standards
  • Foundation in electromechanical or mechatronic concepts
  • Thorough understanding of root cause analysis and related analytical methodology (Five Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa Analysis, 8D, etc.) and root cause driven engineering changes
  • Aerospace and/or DOD Experience
  • Experience or relevant course work in any of the following: Six Sigma, Lean+, Manufacturing and/or Process Improvement
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
