Boeing Ukraine LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Kyiv, Ukraine, to develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and illustrations. The role involves developing manufacturing strategies, integrating suppliers and processes, resolving technical issues, performing producibility assessments, and providing input to design and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedule objectives. Responsibilities also include reviewing work statements, supporting delivery commitments, updating procedures for business and regulatory requirements, mentoring team members, and implementing Lean principles. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field with 1+ years of experience, knowledge of GD&T and international standards, and intermediate English proficiency are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops, implements, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  2. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  3. Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  4. Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
  5. Investigates and resolves manufacturing technical related issues.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 1+ years of related work experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret Engineering documentation - Engineering drawings and Specifications.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and International standards (ASME Y14.5(2018), ASME Y14.5(2009)
  • English language level – intermediate or higher.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations.
  • Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
