Manufacturing Engineer - Fabrication (mid-level or Senior)

Boeing is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Level Manufacturing Engineer to support the Fabrication division in Auburn, WA. The role focuses on process improvement, efficiency, and leading systemic improvements in work instruction processes, translating new process requirements and applying them to training multiple teams. Experience with project management, root cause analysis, and machining operations is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
  2. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
  3. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
  4. Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
  5. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
