Manufacturing Engineer, Repair Operations

NVIDIA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Repair Operations team. The role involves managing repair processes, serving as a liaison between partners and internal teams, and driving repair efficiency. Key responsibilities include program managing product transitions, implementing repair processes, managing test capacity, and handling technical aspects of the repair process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations, project management, and reverse logistics, with a strong background in factory performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a liaison between Contract Manufacturing/Repair partners and NVIDIA teams, including Product Engineering, Quality, and Test Engineering.
  2. Program manage the transition of older generation products from existing Contract Manufacturers to new supplier sites.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to successfully implement required repair processes and compliance audits.
  4. Ensure Bill of Materials, operating procedures, and equipment readiness for new repair product enablement.
  5. Drive repair efficiency by managing test capacity, updating repair BOMs, and tracking repair component availability.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in operations and execution of technology-related products
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as a project manager in product development, NPI, or related engineering fields
  • 8+ years of confirmed experience working in reverse logistics
  • Demonstrated excellence in leading cross-functional relationships
  • Strong background in factory performance in OEM Servers, PCBA, or other related operations

Nice to have

  • experience with SMT, system integration, and testing
