Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Internship role focused on manufacturing engineering, specifically line balancing, bottleneck analysis, process improvement support, and data analysis using tools like Excel and Python. The role involves supporting digital tools and data-driven decision-making within an industrial manufacturing environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in on-site video recording of the production line, recording operation procedures and time data for each process
  2. Identify bottleneck processes using video analysis tools, assist process engineers in optimizing line balancing, and improving efficiency and reducing costs
  3. Organize production data, create analysis reports, and participate in the discussion and implementation of process improvement plans
  4. Track the effectiveness of improvement measures and provide data feedback for subsequent optimization
  5. Process production data using tools such as Excel and Python, complete visual charts and report output
  6. Participate in the testing and application of digital tools (such as MES, BI systems) to promote data-driven decision-making

Skills

Required

  • Automation, control engineering, mechanical automation, mechatronics, computer and related majors
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Strong interest in production processes and process optimization
  • Proficiency in computer office software
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python/SQL
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear logical thinking, good team spirit and collaboration skills
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • Serious and responsible work attitude, rigorous and meticulous, able to adapt to the production site environment, and possess rapid learning ability
