Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our **S&S Extrusion Post Mill Team **in **Puyallup, Washington. **Position is for 3rd Shift.
**Position Responsibilities: **
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): **
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);
- 3+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Compliance and Manufacturing data
- 3+ years of experience using Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 3+ years of experience in reviewing engineering drawings and manufacturing plans

Summary Pay Range: $126,000 - $154,000
