This role is for a Manufacturing Operations Analyst - Structures Workplace Coach at Boeing, focusing on supporting the 777X program. The analyst will assess processes, analyze data, provide coaching to technicians on structural tasks, contribute to root cause investigations, and ensure alignment with quality systems and safety procedures. The role requires extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, structures, and metalworking, with a focus on hands-on coaching and skill transfer.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  2. Analyzes and interprets data
  3. Provides feedback on assessment results
  4. Serve as the on floor structures subject matter expert (SME) who enables rapid skills transfer through hands on coaching rather than formal classroom instruction
  5. Observe technicians during live repairs and maintenance to identify skill gaps, unsafe work practices, and opportunities for efficiency or quality improvement

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience with assembly and structures manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience with drilling and/or precision drilling
  • 5+ years of experience in metalworking, specifically working with hand finishing and deburring to ensure high-quality parts
  • 5+ years of experience in Structural assembly with an emphasis on match drilling aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
  • 5+ years of experience working with detail and assembly parts
  • Experience with composite and metal structures
  • Experience coaching in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience with commercial derivatives, Boeing Commercial Aircraft products or military platforms
  • Experience do you have with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
