This role focuses on improving manufacturing quality and productivity for new and existing products within GE Healthcare's medical technology division. The engineer will lead improvement initiatives, collaborate with related departments, and drive projects using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and PDCA. Key responsibilities include reviewing production results, reducing defects, implementing theoretical improvements, problem-solving, and analyzing products and processes. The role requires experience in quantitative decision-making using analytical equipment and strong communication skills in English.

  2. リーン生産方式や統計的手法を活用した理論的な改善プロセスの策案及び実行
  3. 6Sigma及びPDCA手法を用いた問題解決の実行とそれらをプロセス管理に定着させ安定化の推進
  4. 理論と実績に基づいた活動による、類似製品や新規製品への展開も見据えた業務の推進
  5. 3現主義を軸に製品、工程解析を行い、事実によるアクションの立案と遂行

Skills

Required

  • Experience leading improvement activities with related departments and teams
  • Experience in quantitative decision-making and improvement using analytical equipment (sensors, image analysis equipment, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with methods for creating work standards to stabilize quality
  • Experience in creating and maintaining good product conditions by understanding product and equipment characteristics
  • Smooth communication skills with related departments
  • Experience communicating via email and meetings in English

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and experience in chemical processing such as adhesion
  • Experience and knowledge in improving quality and productivity in medical device manufacturing and management
  • Experience in improving process management (process and work-based process assurance)
  • Experience in pursuing and improving factors using Design of Experiments
  • Experience using inspection and judgment with machine judgment such as sequencers
  • Experience exchanging information and communicating improvements in English with overseas departments
