Description
Partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that achieve ambitious specifications at a massive production scale Compile and evaluate data to figure out appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications Lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields Work with internal and external groups to ensure that a proper definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques are used for the product Drive failure analysis and corrective actions multi-functionally with internal and external team members Design, develop, optimize, review and debug software in C/C++/Objective-C used in interacting with embedded systems (especially for optical testing) Cooperate with cross functional & multidisciplinary teams to specify and implement test coverage (especially for optical testing) Run simulations or experiments to make data driven decisions and present results to senior management (especially for optical testing) Redefine existing algorithms to optimize them for performance or execution time Deploy calibration and performance verification stations throughout the NPI cycle
Minimum Qualifications
BS or above in EE/Imaging/Physics/Optics Proven working experience in the development of inspection & testing machines (especially for camera lens optical testing) Fluent in English communication Good initiative, problem solving, systematic thinking Ability to work proactively in a collaborative, highly cross-functional and fast pace environment Strong learning capability
Preferred Qualifications
Proven working experience in the manufacturing field Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C/Lua/Python Knowledge of Statistics, Data Science, ML 3+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years working on camera, optics or imaging products Experience in high volume consumer electronics calibration, testing and manufacturing experience Experience with plotting, processing and mining data
