This role focuses on establishing and managing a manufacturing quality program for datacenter infrastructure, ensuring high standards for components, reliability, and performance. It involves vendor audits, quality assurance, process improvement, and issue resolution to support OpenAI's global data center network.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct vendor audits, evaluations, and performance reviews across production, inspection, testing, and delivery phases.
  2. Develop and track quality metrics to assess manufacturing performance and identify trends.
  3. Partner with vendors to refine processes, strengthen training programs, and enhance quality controls before shipment.
  4. Build and maintain a datacenter-focused manufacturing quality program that supports rapid global deployment schedules.
  5. Integrate quality requirements into sourcing, design, and construction workflows.
