This role involves supporting radar development and sustainment programs, focusing on RF troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and laboratory support for hardware upgrades and testing. What you'd actually do

  1. Perform radio‑frequency (RF) troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for radar systems, including line‑replaceable units (LRUs), line‑replaceable modules (LRMs), and circuit‑card assemblies (CCAs).
  2. Work across functional areas such as systems, manufacturing, test and equipment engineering, material management, and process re-engineering.
  3. Provide laboratory support for hardware upgrades, sustainment, and testing; maintain and upgrade legacy test stations; assist with the development of test requirements and improved testing capabilities.
  4. Use MATLAB for analysis and scripting.
  5. Evaluate customer warranty assets and determine failure root causes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree + 2 years (or master’s degree + 0 years) of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or electronic‑test environments.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP or a comparable system.
  • Understanding of RF theory and principles.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Nice to have

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and IBM DOORS.
  • Proven experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with MBSE, systems‑lifecycle management, and signal processing.
  • Expert‑level SAP knowledge.
  • Knowledge or experience with iMRO/PEO processes.
