Carbon Robotics is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, and perform quality control on sub-assembly parts for their LaserWeeder™ product, which uses robotics, computer vision, and AI/deep learning for herbicide-free weed control in agriculture. The role involves hands-on assembly, calibration, documentation, and collaboration within a manufacturing environment.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work across multiple functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise assembly instructions
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during assembly and calibration tasks

Nice to have

  • additional technical education or certifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly of electronic or mechanical components
  • Basic understanding of optical systems, electronics, and sensors
