This role focuses on developing and deploying end-to-end calibration solutions for AR/VR tracking systems in a manufacturing environment. It involves hardware and software integration, robotics control, computer vision, and sensor fusion, with a secondary focus on integrating AI tools for workflow optimization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and deploy manufacturing ready end-to-end calibration solutions for tracking systems on Meta RL AR/VR products, including algorithm test sequence, motion stage/robotics control, image capturing/processing and data transaction interface to defined IT infrastructure
  2. Analyze, evaluate, design, integrate and test the first article fixture to meet specification and proof of concept
  3. Develops tracking calibration solution specifications, procedures, and debugging guides
  4. Lead and drive cross-functional decisions on hardware and software development and architecture
  5. Validation of test SW/FW releases, including repeatability and negative testing, and coordinate SW upgrades with fixture integrator and CM/JDM partners
