The role involves program management, instruction, evaluation, remediation, and collaboration with Engineering and Quality to ensure workforce capability and operational excellence in the Armament Systems Business Unit.

What you'd actually do

  1. Program Management: Build and improve onboarding and existing employee training.
  2. Instruction: Conduct classroom, practical, and hands-on production sessions.
  3. Evaluation: Assess trainee competency through written tests and observations.
  4. Remediation: Provide targeted coaching to close skill gaps and improve performance.
  5. Cross-Training: Support workforce flexibility across multiple production programs.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma
  • 5–7 years in manufacturing with a focus on personnel training
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly
  • Proficiency in production documentation
  • Proficiency in computer-based manufacturing systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Electronic training recordkeeping systems

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 standards
  • Experience with automation
