Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Maritime Technical Operations Engineer to support global deployment and operations of their Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) platforms. The role involves acting as a product expert for customer-facing operations, including troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and data collection, while also providing feedback to engineering for product improvement. This position requires extensive hands-on experience with robotic systems, problem-solving in complex environments, and willingness to travel and work in austere conditions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deploy globally to support customer-fielded AUV operations.
  2. Operate as a product expert in hands-on and remote troubleshooting, mission planning, repair, operation, maintenance, and data collection (with support from engineering and operations when required), ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  3. Master the intricacies of AUV operations and subsystems, and be able to educate others on these topics.
  4. Lead troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs in the field.
  5. Liaise between customers, engineering, and operations for issue resolution.
