This role is for a Market Financial Center Manager at Bank of America, responsible for supporting a cluster of financial centers in the absence of the assigned manager and acting as a market-level resource. The position involves managing business operations, fostering a client-centric and risk-aware culture, and driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include managing client traffic, business results through coaching, creating a positive client experience, and executing market-level initiatives. Managerial duties include championing opportunity and inclusion, driving data-driven decisions, communicating effectively, managing risks, coaching team members, financial stewardship, talent development, and achieving business outcomes. Required qualifications include leadership experience, collaboration skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, risk management abilities, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and proficiency in computer programs. Desired qualifications include management experience, and experience in consumer banking, mortgage, retail, or hospitality. Bilingualism is a plus.

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of leadership experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: coaching, training and/or motivating a work team
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as needed to promote customer satisfaction
  • Strong financial and business acumen including experience in leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability
  • Proven record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily engage others in dialogue, convey sincere interest in building/deepening relationships and demonstrate a commitment to providing personalized service
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and delegate while delivering results
  • Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (for example, Microsoft Office)
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market​

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of management experience including hiring, coaching and developing direct reports
  • Experience in the following industries: Consumer banking/financial services, mortgage, retail and/or hospitality
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
