Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Marketing and Sales Rep Manager to lead new opportunities, expand partnerships, and shape the future of Insitu’s business in the European and Americas region. The role involves driving engagement strategy, overseeing capture execution, assisting in bid preparation, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Requires extensive business development experience, leadership skills, and strategic thinking within the defense and aerospace sectors.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the creation, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the engagement strategy and business development efforts for Insitu’s growth efforts with the European and Americas region
  2. Lead the long-term positioning and capture execution of Company product and services offerings for regional assignment
  3. Oversee business capture opportunities; execute strategies and tactics to foster business growth with acceptable margins
  4. Assist in preparing bids and proposals by developing themes and discriminators, coordinating the efforts of internal stakeholders, reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary and pricing, and gaining the approval of Insitu’s executive leadership
  5. Leverage resources and knowledge of Insitu’s products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments and foster business growth

Skills

Required

  • Extensive experience as a business development director or senior-level specialist, with a track record of successful business capture
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and influence teams both directly and indirectly
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess market conditions and business performance
  • General understanding of the targeted customer and/or regional market
  • Ability to balance the enterprise, business unit, and customer goals to meet and drive the Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP)
  • Good interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and a relentless customer focus
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to balance competing demands
  • Experience in maintaining relationships with executives, customer decision-makers, and industry partners
  • Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements and related topics to gain competitive advantage
  • Familiarity with Industrial Offset obligations, including planning, negotiation, implementation, and reporting with government or industry partners
  • Familiarity with then US Government FMS/FMF process

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working with defence customers in market segment
  • Previous experience with unmanned aircraft systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce software
