This role is a Business Analyst within the Corporate Websites Management team at JPMorgan Chase. The primary focus is on bridging business requirements with technical execution by collaborating with product owners, architects, developers, and UX designers. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, suggesting improvements, supporting developers on technical enhancements, translating design concepts into technical specifications, assisting with agile best practices, assessing risk and impact of changes, documenting analyses, and recommending innovative solutions. The role also involves supporting the Product Owner in developing business cases and aligning project workflows with agile and BDD practices. Required qualifications include a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, business analysis and data analytics experience, proficiency with tools like Excel, Jira, and Figma, experience with BDD methodologies, and strong communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with product owners, architects, developers, and the Corporate Websites Management (CWM) team’s UX design group to bridge business requirements with technical execution
  2. Collaborate with the platform team in gathering requirements and authoring improvement suggestions.
  3. Work with developers on technical improvements, including supporting initiatives to optimize system performance.
  4. Assist in translating design concepts into actionable technical specifications ensuring clear communication between designers and developers.
  5. Support scrum coaches by reinforcing agile best practices and contributing to process enhancement initiatives as needed.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and data analytics.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel), as well as project management and design tools like Jira and Figma.
  • Experience in applying Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and writing clear "Given-When-Then" scenarios.
  • Strong documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

  • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or significant experience with agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with financial or digital marketing environments.
  • Experience working with remote or globally dispersed teams.
