Marketing Director for Visa Indonesia, responsible for setting strategic direction and executing brand, solutions, and B2B client marketing. The role involves accelerating business growth with a P&L mindset, optimizing marketing investment, championing brand consistency, and owning Marketing Value-Added Services (VAS) revenue and profitability through a consultancy-led approach.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape and lead the country’s brand marketing strategy, translating business priorities into impactful programs that advance Visa’s growth ambitions.
  2. Own the delivery of Marketing Value-Added Services (VAS) revenue and profitability, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams including VCA and the regional marketing organization in Singapore across sponsorship, creative, card design, and marketing advisory.
  3. Lead the seamless execution of high‑impact consumer marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on merchant partnerships and point‑of‑sale brand visibility.
  4. Act as the senior marketing voice and thought leader for Indonesia, shaping perspectives, influencing decisions, and inspiring confidence among internal leaders, clients, and ecosystem partners.
  5. Collaborate closely with the regional marketing team in Singapore to ensure strategic alignment, consistency, and scale.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management / Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience of related consumer and/or partner or client marketing management, top-tier Financial, Payments, Technology, Telco preferred
  • Proven experience in being part of world-class creative work development process, support effective agency management process across creative, media, digital, and BTL activities
  • Effective project management skills and analytical thinking, as well as interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess high learning agility and experience managing teams
  • Demonstrates proven ability to work with clients across existing and new partners
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization while driving clarity, focus, and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to link marketing strategy to commercial outcomes and business performance
  • Comfort operating with senior stakeholders while maintaining accountability for local results
