This role is for a Marketing Events Manager at an AI infrastructure company. The manager will be responsible for scaling event marketing programs, focusing on operational excellence and high-impact execution. What you'd actually do

  1. Design, plan, and execute a diverse portfolio of events, including large-scale industry trade shows, bespoke high-touch sales events, and technical thought leadership meetups.
  2. Establish scalable event processes, templates, and best practices to ensure repeatable, high-quality execution as the company and event volume grow.
  3. Develop and manage comprehensive event project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all operational milestones are met.
  4. Serve as the primary program manager, driving cross-functional alignment and accountability across sales, marketing, product, dev rel, and leadership teams to orchestrate cohesive events.
  5. Oversee all event logistics and operations, including venue sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, registration, booth/set design, staffing, and post-event reporting and lead follow-up.

Skills

Required

  • 7-10 years of experience in event marketing, marketing operations, or program management
  • Proven track record of managing and executing complex events
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget administration
  • Strong program management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Splash) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
