Marketing Manager for Uber in Turkey, responsible for developing and executing local marketing strategies to build brand impact and drive growth. This role involves analyzing market trends, understanding users, developing campaigns, managing agencies, and driving insights from research and analytics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a strategic understanding of market priorities (business targets, P&L priorities, user segmentation, etc.), and generate marketing strategies and plans that align with both the market priorities and the global brand strategy.
  2. Analyze the state of the market and brand, and develop a deep understanding of users.
  3. Identify local marketing needs and opportunities aligned with business priorities.
  4. Develop, localize, and/or pulse up brand marketing initiatives that align with the market needs and global brand strategies.
  5. Work with key stakeholders to develop and execute campaigns, including: creative agencies, media teams, central marketing, research & data science, performance marketing, comms, policy, Ops, etc.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and analytically.

  • Experience managing creative and media agencies.

  • Self-motivation and drive. Ability to work well independently and within a group setting to push projects to completion.
  • Native Turkish speaker with fluency in English.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar - advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience creating regional marketing strategies and plans.
  • Experience working for a global brand.
