What you'd actually do

Lead and manage the entire marketing campaign lifecycle—from strategic planning and concept development, through execution, to post-campaign measurement and analysis. Provide comprehensive support to clients, ensuring seamless integration of strategy, implementation, and performance evaluation to drive sustainable business results.
  2. Respond rapidly and flexibly to client needs and market changes, ensuring efficient project management and execution. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
  3. Foster effective communication and collaboration with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Lead cross-functional projects, working closely with teams across the organization to deliver integrated marketing solutions and address complex challenges.
  4. Adapt and implement global best practices to fit the unique needs of the Japanese market. Leverage Visa’s worldwide expertise while ensuring strategies and campaigns are locally relevant and effective.
  5. Work closely with advertising, media, digital, and promotion agencies to ensure the delivery and execution of projects. Develop and maintain positive agency relationships based on inspiration, respect, and shared passion.

Skills

Required

  • 10 years of work experience in relevant marketing space
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Full bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Experience working in and with multinational organizations with well-positioned local brands
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and creatively, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to marketing and communication strategies to achieve desired results and business objectives
  • Strong understanding of the marketing landscape and trends, including digital marketing, and be willing to stay updated
  • Willingness to take responsibility and accountability for the successful completion of projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Open to admitting and learning from mistakes

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or MBA are preferable
