Markets Support Specialist – Equity Derivatives Settlements

This role provides advanced end-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business. Responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. The role focuses on continuous improvement and supporting new processes within a financial setting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides operational support for one or more activities within the lifecycle of a trade, including trade processing, trade settlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, and collateral management
  2. Provides simplified client interactions and deepens client relationships across Global Banking and Markets' clients
  3. Completes accurate, timely clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaks
  4. Performs tasks accurately during high volume periods in a team environment
  5. Improves and simplifies the client experience, reducing manual touchpoints

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of client service experience in a financial setting
  • Ability to work within a close team environment supporting colleagues.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority and with internal and external clients
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation.
  • Good level of competence in Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-energy environment and to learn and develop in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • A keen problem solver with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
