This role is for a Material Estimating Pricing Analyst at Northrop Grumman, supporting the Weapon Systems Material Estimating team. The primary responsibilities include preparing material estimates for proposal submittals, understanding customer requirements, collaborating with technical and business teams, selecting pricing methods, ensuring compliance with regulations (FAR/DFAR, TINA), and supporting proposal reviews, fact-finding, and negotiations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in pricing, estimating, or related fields, or equivalent experience. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by:
  2. Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests
  3. Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy, interfacing with Business Management, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Program Office, and Pricing Organizations
  4. Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal
  5. Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently
  6. Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements
  7. Ensuring delivery schedule adherence
  8. Supporting proposal reviews with detailed Bills of Materials and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), including accompanying supporting data
  9. Preparing Bill of Material pricing templates to support proposal-specific pricing models
  10. Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal estimating process
  11. Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications, while ensuring TINA compliance during all aspects of the proposal process

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 1 years of experience; or 6 years of related experience in Pricing, Estimating in lieu of degree
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
