Material Planner V responsible for managing import/export documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination for Caterpillar's operations in Wuxi, Jiangsu. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate handling of international shipments, managing relationships with freight forwarders and customs authorities, and optimizing transportation costs.

What you'd actually do

  1. 根据工厂物料需求及出货计划及时安排进出口单证制作和检查，确保进出口单证的准确性和合规性。
  2. 申请进出口过程中所需的各类证书或许可证。
  3. 应对和解决通关事务中各类突发问题，以及与海关的良好沟通。
  4. 与货代、客户、计划、仓库、生产等部门保持良好沟通，跟踪货物的运输情况，确保货物的准时提货和到货。
  5. 国内/国际运输业务异常情况的协调解决。对承运商/报关行的KPI考核，对于异常物流情况进行分析及采取改进措施。

Skills

Required

  • Familiar with customs laws and regulations, import/export processes, and international trade rules
  • Familiar with customs clearance, HS code classification, and tariff calculation
  • Understanding of international transportation methods (sea, air, truck, express) and cost control
  • Proficient in office software, especially EXCEL
  • Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork

Nice to have

  • International trade, logistics, or related majors preferred
  • Digitalization experience is a plus
