Material Program Manager for the Standard Missile portfolio, supporting Production Assurance efforts. Responsibilities include proposal support, customer negotiation, material requirements planning, subcontract management, and project management within a matrixed organization. The role involves developing and leading material program strategies, participating in proposals, and managing supplier relationships and financial aspects of programs. Requires experience with Supply Chain and MRP, and a transferable U.S. government security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
  2. Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
  3. Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
  4. Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s) as well as labor basis of estimates (BOEs)
  5. Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives

  • EVMS Certification
  • PM Level 7 (or higher) Certification
