Material Program Manager

Material Program Manager for the SM-3 IB program at RTX, responsible for liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team, ensuring flawless execution of products and programs. Requires experience in supply chain, production control, procurement, and program management within a matrixed environment. Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
  2. Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
  3. Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
  4. Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  5. Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment experience
  • Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements experience
  • Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing experience
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) experience

Nice to have

  • Procurement / supplier management experience
  • CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist
  • Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience
  • Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs) experience
  • Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (i.e EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price)
