What you'd actually do

  1. Communicate and translate Program requirements to critical suppliers undergoing design agent updates; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  2. Lead team, supplier/program engineering and redesign efforts.
  3. Ensure supplier is supporting MRP, the MPP, and the MPS.
  4. Develop and execute Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program responsibilities & proactively manage mitigation plans.
  5. Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Supply chain experience

Nice to have

  • Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)
  • International procurement / supplier management experience
  • Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (i.e EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price)
  • CORE or similar Six Sigma Specialist
  • Experience leading in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
