Material Program Manager (mpm)

Material Program Manager (MPM) for the AIM-9X program, responsible for overall supply chain ownership of production suppliers, developing and executing material program strategies, and leading the MPM team. Requires experience with supply chain, forecasting, and project/material management, with a strong ability to communicate and resolve conflicts. Security clearance is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Overall supply chain ownership of production suppliers
  2. Develop and execute strategies to perform and meet the Program’s needs
  3. Lead robust and challenging schedule conflicts to meet the Program objectives
  4. Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and additional financial metrics
  5. Commit to obtaining MPM certification after experience in the role

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with supply chain and forecasting
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Professional experience with Project, Program, Product, Finance and/or Supplier Management
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform
