Boeing is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Moses Lake, WA, to manage materials, equipment, and tooling for manufacturing operations. What you'd actually do

  1. Review master schedules and shortage reports to identify potential issues and notify Operations and Materials Management stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication, and other departments to address parts, equipment, tooling, and production issues.
  3. Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and shortages to ensure a consistent flow of parts and materials.
  4. Reallocate and adjust systems to ensure compliance with paperwork for unitized parts.
  5. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure the availability of equipment, tooling, and materials for manufacturing needs.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control systems and maintenance recordkeeping systems, such as ERP, Ariba, CMES, Cribmaster, CTMA, and Microsoft Excel.
  • 2+ years of experience in performing transactions in MRP/ERP systems to close work order, query inventory, receive and inspect product using the MRP/ERP system.
  • 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and resolving supply chain complexities that are critical in keeping production schedules on track.
  • Currently possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience communicating effectively and understanding the complexities of a manufacturing system.
  • 2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Management.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, rain, snow, and wind.
