Materials Program Manager

This role manages the materials and supply chain for new product introductions (NPI) to high volume manufacturing (HVM) at Intel. It involves coordinating material acquisition, managing supplier relationships, ensuring bill of materials integrity, and optimizing costs and risks within the supply chain. The role requires experience in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and supplier relationship management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Translate manufacturing and market dynamics into actionable strategies for materials risk assessment, inventory optimization, and supply chain streamlining.
  2. Coordinate the acquisition of materials for NPI programs/projects and ramp readiness, ensuring smooth transitions to HVM.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to execute contractual requirements, evaluate performance, and discuss cost opportunities and future operational strategies.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams across project management, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to define customer demand and raw materials requirements.
  5. Drive planning and procurement activities at both product and cross-product platform levels, ensuring bills of materials integrity, availability, cost, and quality goals are met.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in supply chain, business or associated field with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 6+ years of equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and transformation.
  • 2+ years in managing complex supplier relationships and drive operational strategies.
