Mdce Beol Integration Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Leixlip, Ireland

This role focuses on process engineering and yield optimization within semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in the BEOL integration for Intel's advanced technology nodes. The engineer will work on identifying root causes of yield/performance issues, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product introduction and continuous improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with FEOL/BEOL Integration, Device, Defect Reduction and Yield Analysis team members to identify root cause of yield/performance issues and quickly implement corrective plans to meet committed production yield targets
  2. Collaborate with Technology Development and Local Yield teams to import new technology to production fabs.
  3. Own product maintenance, ensuring products are successfully introduced to the fab and run on target. Optimize targets for yield, device, performance.
  4. Establish and implement workflows and procedures for continuous improvement programs to ensure quality and prevent yield excursions in line and sort processes
  5. Analyze structured and unstructured data to deliver insights into process health and enable decision on improvement activities
