The EU Taxonomy Specialist role at Honeywell focuses on ensuring the company's products and processes align with EU sustainable finance regulations. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage Honeywell portfolio to ensure alignment with EU Taxonomy regulations
  2. Identify gaps for products / services / activities which do not fulfil EU Taxonomy criteria
  3. Manage and identify products / services / activities as per EU NACE codes and support other Harmonized System (HSN) codes alignment with EU Taxonomy
  4. Identify under which EU Environmental objective products / services / activities are to be categorized
  5. Calculate significant contribution of any activity for dedicated EU environmental objective

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in sustainability / ESG domain
  • Ability to explain / understand various climate change projection scenarios
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
  • Awareness of environmental regulations and sustainability standards

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ESG regulations including EU Taxonomy and EU CSRD
  • Knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting protocols including the GHG Protocol, SASB and TCFD
  • Working knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently
  • Strong project management skills to drive execution within teams
