Mechanical Data and Plm Specialist

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Yokneam, Israel

NVIDIA is seeking a Mechanical Data and PLM Coordinator to support their mechanical engineering design team. This role involves managing mechanical BOMs, coordinating CAD data, creating documentation, leading engineering change processes, and supporting testing and manufacturing transitions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with PLM systems like Windchill and CAD software like Creo.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, maintain, and release Mechanical BOMs in the Windchill PLM system, including part structures, revisions, and data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
  2. Coordinate and validate CAD data (Creo preferred), generate manufacturing files (STEP and neutral formats), and ensure compliance with internal modeling standards.
  3. Create and maintain mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and engineering documentation with strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerances.
  4. Lead Engineering Change processes (ECR/ECO), ensuring changes are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and implemented with minimal impact on production and supply chain.
  5. Support Mechanical Verification Testing (MVT) activities in collaboration with design and lab teams to validate product performance, reliability, and assembly readiness.
