Netflix is seeking a Media Manager for its regional marketing team in EMEA, focusing on Italy and Turkey. The role involves developing media strategy, planning, and executing advertising campaigns for titles and the Netflix brand. The manager will collaborate with local and global teams, manage agency relationships, build learning agendas, and stay informed about market trends. Key responsibilities include developing media strategy, evaluating agency media plans, leveraging cross-market learnings, ensuring effective creative delivery, developing audience-first approaches, and managing media partner relationships. The role requires 8+ years of experience in paid media campaigns, expertise in Italy, fluency in Italian and English, and knowledge of various media channels, including CTV and social media. Experience with upper funnel strategies, budget management (€1M+), and a startup/scale-up environment is also desired.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with the title marketing team on media strategy, budget planning, and goal setting to develop clear and inspiring briefs
  2. Evaluate media plans provided by our agency, in line with the brief and the wider business context and advise title managers on your recommendations
  3. Leverage cross‑market learnings and collaborate with the wider regional team to shape clear, insight‑driven and inspiring briefs that not only elevate campaign thinking, but also improve media efficiency and deliver more impactful, measurable results across titles and markets
  4. Work closely with production managers and title managers to ensure delivery of effective creative, aligned with the campaign vision
  5. Develop an audience-first approach, balancing the needs of individual launches with our overall market presence

Skills

Required

  • 8 or more years of experience managing and developing strategy for paid media campaigns in a media specialism in house or within a media agency
  • Expertise in Italy
  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Well versed in all media channels
  • Experience with upper funnel campaign strategies and evaluating success
  • Experience managing media campaigns with budgets of €1M or more
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
